Private Second Opinion – Scan and Consultation for pregnant women from 6-40 weeks of pregnancy with a Consultant in Maternal/Fetal Medicine

MUMS offers second opinion antenatal scans with our Consultants in Maternal and Fetal Medicine - Mr Anoop Rehal, Mr Davide Casagrandi and Miss Deepa Rajan– at our private state of the art antenatal clinic in Solihull.

If a problem is identified with your baby during a scan you have had within or outside the NHS, we can offer a second opinion consultation and ultrasound scan. Our Consultants in Fetal Medicine have extensive experience in antenatal ultrasound scans. They are therefore well placed to perform detailed scans and consultations.

The cost of a second opinion scan and consultation at MUMS is £300.00.

Fetal Echo costs £250

The consultation and scan are comprehensive, detailed, and thorough. We offer private second opinion antenatal scans so you can benefit from a different clinician’s medical opinion to assess your baby’s development and a fresh perspective on any concerns.

A Private Second Opinion Scan and Consultation at MUMS Solihull includes:

• Detailed consultation to discuss pregnancy concerns which may include, pregnancy history, abnormal scan findings, high risk results from Nuchal and NIPT
• Ultrasound of your baby's growth and anatomy.
• Medical Report
• USB Stick with images & video/clips
• Printed Scan Images

A Private Fetal Echocardiogram includes:

• All of the above and...
• A detailed scan to look at the anatomy and function of the baby's heart.

Specialist fetal medicine care is sometimes required where there is a concern about an abnormality or condition relating to mum or baby.

Our Fetal Medicine Consultants advise and manage complex and multiple pregnancies in the NHS and privately. They specialise in fetal and maternal medicine. Being leaders in their NHS units mean they are familiar with all pregnancy related problems and matters affecting the unborn baby.
