Travel Vaccinations and Routine Vaccinations and Immunisations

Be protected wherever you go

Travel and Routine Vaccinations

We offer a range of travel and non-travel vaccinations at MUMS, including Child Immunisations.

Our GPs and Nurses offer Travel and Non-Travel Vaccinations to adults.

A simple £40.00 Vaccination Appointment for single vaccines is required although a £100.00 GP Consultation is recommended so that a full history and advice is sought.

For multiple vaccines we offer a £100.00 Consultation and Vaccination appointment with our Private GPs.

If you are unsure which vaccine is appropriate for you then we urge you to book a £100.00 consultation.

Our Consultant Paediatrician offers child immunisation and child travel vaccinations in a simple £50.00 Vaccination Appointment. If you are unsure which vaccine is appropriate for your child or your child requires multiple vaccines – albeit travel or routine immunisation – then we recommend a consultation with the paediatrician. Paediatric Consultations cost £235.00

If you opt for the vaccination only appointment, and not a consultation with the GP or Paediatrician, please provide all vaccination history to ensure that you are having the correct vaccine as there will be no consultation within the appointment.

Our GPs will advise on the latest healthcare information for your trip, whether it be long haul, short haul holidays or business trips.

Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your travel plans, as you may require several vaccinations, some of which might be part of a course.

Private Immunisations

Routine Vaccinations and Immunisations

We offer a range of routine vaccinations and immunisations to help protect against illnesses such as measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) as well as chickenpox.

Our clinic provides vaccinations against common diseases and bacterial infections. If you’re looking for protection against seasonal flu or shingles, these too can be offered.

We offer – no waiting times, often same day service, ample parking, and great reviews.

To protect you and your family against serious illnesses – it is wise to immunise. Our friendly team can be contacted on 0121 704 2669 or you can make an online enquiry.

Our clinicians are experienced and competent and can advise on the risks and benefits of private vaccination or private immunisation – including any side effects.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you have planned travel outside of the UK, you may need to have extra vaccinations. Although the childhood vaccination programme in the UK protects you from a number of diseases, you may need to have extra vaccinations if you are planning to visit certain countries.
  • Once you have booked your travel, it is advisable to check when you will need your vaccinations. Some vaccinations need to be taken several weeks before departure. We recommend arranging your appointment at least six to eight weeks before your departure date.
  • You can either choose to have a 30 minute consultation with the GP, or you can opt to have a short 10minute vaccination only appointment.
  • During your consultation, one of our experienced GP’s will take your medical history and ensure that you are informed of the risks and benefits associated with the vaccine that you require. Once it is established that the vaccine is needed, this will be administered. You may need a series of vaccinations before travel, this will be discussed during the consultation. You will then be given your certificate as proof of vaccination.
  • As there are so many different types of vaccinations available, the cost varies for each vaccine. When you call MUMS to make an enquiry or appointment, we will tell you the cost of your required vaccination over the phone.
