Private 12-16 week Reassurance Scan

MUMS offer 12-16 week reassurance scans 6 days a week at MUMS Solihull in our state-of-the-art private antenatal clinic. You will not usually feel your baby's movements until 18-22 weeks. MUMS offer a Reassurance scan between 12-16 weeks so that you can have the reassurance that your baby is developing normally.

The 12-16 week private reassurance scan will show and let you hear your baby’s heartbeat.  We will also take measurements to check the growth and check the amniotic fluid around baby.  The scan is usually performed abdominally but if you are worried about premature labour the cervix can be measured with a trans-vaginal scan from 16 weeks of pregnancy (additional cost).

The cost of a 12-16 week reassurance scan is £85 for single pregnancies and £120 for twin pregnancies.

All our Sonographers and Fetal Medicine Consultants are highly skilled and trained to perform both transabdominal (TA) and transvaginal (TV) ultrasound scans. Our Sonographers are Bubby Bhandal, and Helen Grant – both of which have huge experience in the NHS and privately. They are qualified to perform reassurance scans. Our Consultants are Mr Anoop Rehal, Consultant in Fetal Medicine and Mr Davide Casagrandi, Speciality Doctor in Obstetrics. Our Sonographers, Helen and Bubby, are very experienced and have held positions in the NHS for many years. MUMS Consultants are highly qualified specialists with NHS and Private experience in diagnostic pregnancy scanning.
